The competition organizers – Team Wingfox - welcomed a number of competitors and guests with the proverbial ‘bread, salt and a bottle’. On the Saturday evening a range of attractions were planned. One of those was a test of the strength of the front beam of the Wingfox catamaran. A car weighing one metric ton (1000Kg) was suspended above the ground from a carbon beam, which the assembled sportsmen considered a big challenge. The test was successful: the beam supported the 1000 Kg Peugeot. With great pleasure we can announce that Jacek Noetzel in the WingFoX boat won first place in the A-Cat and OPEN TEXEL classes.
