WingFoX Masts

A-cat masts

Our masts are made of high-temperature epoxy-carbon prepreg in a high-pressure aluminium molds. It guarantees an absolute duplication of its established weight and rigidness. This technology also ensures that all designed flexibility parameters stay the same at any surface. Our masts are matched individually, according to each customer’s weight and needs.

Our masts designed for A-class are made in two basic groups:

1. More rigid towards the trailing edge and relatively soft at the sides

2. Softer towards the trailing edge and more rigid at the sides.

mastsThe basic measurement method of masts is two-dimensional bending of the top under 20kg weight. Based on measurement of the flexibility and deflection, any sail is individually designed and added to every mast produced by us. This policy guarantees extrtemely good results. Any set made by us is always easily trimmed, according to current weathercast. Only then, both the turning mast and the sail make one coherent voilure.

All riggings are made of a high quality acid-proof steel.

Apart from standard masts, we produce them individually in any parameters and flexibility.

Larger masts for one- and multi hull boats

maszt1_300The use of high-performance carbon composites provides proper mast’s flexibility going along with its less weight. Masts for large yachts are individually designed, so that they satisfy the most demanding sailor’s needs. The use of the turning carbon mast on the one- or multi-hull boats assures a significant increase results in sailing both upwind and downwind.

Easy transport is an important factor when it comes to regatta boats. Masts can be made in parts if demanded by customer.
